With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dan Tinghitella brings a refined understanding of service, operations, and client experience to the world of real estate. His background in developing and operating award-winning restaurants across South Florida, New York, and the Florida Keys has given him a sharp eye for design, quality, and the details that elevate both spaces and experiences. Since relocating to the Emerald Coast in 2016, Dan has seamlessly transitioned his passion for hospitality into helping clients find homes that reflect the lifestyle and spirit of 30A.
A natural leader and entrepreneur, Dan has owned and managed several successful restaurant concepts and served as COO of a chef-owned group where he helped launch multiple high-profile ventures. His career highlights include cooking at the James Beard House in New York City, leading a team for the Florida Governor’s Inauguration Dinner, and traveling with the U.S. Air Force to the Middle East to feed American troops. These experiences have shaped his disciplined, relationship-driven approach to business — one defined by integrity, attention to detail, and the pursuit of excellence in every endeavor.
Deeply committed to the community he serves, Dan has held leadership roles with Seaside Schools, Dune Lakes Elementary, and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, as well as local church and tourism organizations. He and his wife, Joannah, live along 30A with their three children, where they enjoy the coastal lifestyle, traveling, and spending time outdoors. With his unique blend of hospitality expertise and local insight, Dan brings a fresh, service-oriented perspective to Spears Group’s mission of delivering unparalleled real estate experiences along the Emerald Coast.
